The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Vries fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
A countering left hand to the body from Curry misses.
Nice takedown defense from Curry. No joy for De Vries on that attempt.
Curry looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
De Vries throws a sloppy body shot
and Curry counters with a nice right hand that sends De Vries toppling to the canvas! De Vries scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Curry finish him?!
De Vries is rocked!
It looks like Idris De Vries has been cut.
De Vries walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles De Vries limp body while Curry jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
