The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petrov throws an off balance right hand
and Bass counters with a crisp one two that drops Petrov ! Bass thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Petrov to his feet! Petrov is in big trouble!
Petrov throws a nice inside leg kick.
Petrov throws a looping overhand right but Bass ducks down to avoid it.
Bass staying out of range there.
Bass throwing a counter right hand but Petrov manages to avoid it.
Petrov connects with an inside leg kick.
Petrov looks to land a left hand but Bass moved out of range nicely.
Bass half committed to a counter leg kick.
Petrov misses with a looping left.
It looked like Bass wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Petrov takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Bass looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Petrov scores with a jab. Bass acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Petrov throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
A counter left hand to the body from Bass misses its target.
Petrov connects with a good right hand that stumbles Bass. Bass circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
A decent looking cross lands there for Petrov .

Petrov looks to land a right hand but Bass moved out of range.
Bass appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Bass drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Petrov lunges at Bass with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Bass's hand.
Left hook, right uppercut from Petrov .
Petrov rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Bass counters with a lovely straight right hand!
It looks like Master Petrov has been cut.
Petrov throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Bass counters with a crisp right hand that drops Petrov ! Bass lets Petrov back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Petrov is rocked!

and Bass counters with a left to the body.
Petrov is still on wobbly legs! Can Bass finish him?
Petrov throws an off balance right hand
and Bass counters with a huge right that knocks Petrov out cold! Bass is running around with a crazed look on his face - you can see how much that meant to him!
