Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Michael McConnell !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Troika Tercero!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Gregory Folan and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McConnell closes the distance and clinches up with Tercero, looking for a takedown. McConnell pushes Tercero against the cage but Tercero circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Tercero scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. McConnell doesn't seem bothered though.
Troika Tercero seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McConnell is looking to clinch.
Tercero looks like he wants to counter punch here.

Tercero throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
McConnell throws a head kick that misses.
McConnell has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Tercero finds it's way round the side to connect with McConnell 's head.
McConnell is rocked!
Tercero throws an uppercut from hell that sends McConnell clean off his feet! He's out cold! Tercero stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Troika Tercero!
In his post fight interview, Troika Tercero started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
