Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Egor Kuznecov (ranked 1640 p4p, 1803 weight class) and Johnny Hogg (ranked 193 p4p, 215 weight class). Hogg has chosen Styx - Renegade as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Egor Kuznecov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Johnny Hogg! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Wagner Zegers and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Good standup being displayed there by Kuznecov as he connects with a hook. Hogg stuffs the takedown attempt from Kuznecov. Kuznecov gets slowly back to his feet. Hogg is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Kuznecov with a body shot. Kuznecov tries for a takedown but Hogg circles away easily and Hogg counters with a nice double leg into side control. Kuznecov won't be happy with that. Kuznecov is positioning himself to get back to half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hogg sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Kuznecov is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kuznecov tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad. Hogg with shots to the head and body - Kuznecov looks very uncomfortable down there. Hogg thowing shots but they're missing. Hogg throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hogg postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Kuznecov looks a forlorn figure.
Hogg is landing with some decent strikes but Kuznecov is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Kuznecov in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Hogg landing punches. Hogg throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Kuznecov is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Shark Tank Private Gym, so we'll see if he gets out of it. Hogg lands a big shot there that rocks Kuznecov but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Hogg scoring with strikes but Kuznecov is staying in there. Kuznecov is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hogg avoids the attempt from Kuznecov to control. Kuznecov is looking to get to half guard. Kuznecov tries to hold on but Hogg postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hogg raining down hammerfists from mount. Hogg misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Hogg wants to control the pace but Kuznecov is squirming around nicely. Hogg lands with some strikes. Hogg throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Kuznecov has his hands clasped together but Hogg breaks the hold and Kuznecov is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Hogg!
