Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hrvoje Palmotic (ranked 441 p4p, 359 weight class) and Kaarlo Susi (ranked 67 p4p, 58 weight class). Palmotic comes to the cage accompanied by One day I'll be king. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Susi is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Palmotic is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Palmotic throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Susi sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Susi lands a big head kick that sends Palmotic tumbling to the mat! Susi takes a step backwards and waves Palmotic back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Palmotic looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

and Palmotic counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Palmotic walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

and Palmotic counters with a solid body kick.
The fighters circling - Palmotic throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Palmotic chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Susi can pounce on him.
We've been told by Palmotic's head coaches at DC Dragon Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Kaarlo Susi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Susi moves out of range of the strikes.

Susi tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Susi jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Palmotic throws a quick counter kick to the body but Susi avoids it.
A looping hook to the body misses from Palmotic. Susi does a little dance to reset his feet.
Palmotic is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Susi throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Susi misses with a hook. Palmotic ducked under it nicely.
