PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bone Breaker (ranked 769 p4p, 817 weight class) and Kip Stern (ranked 128 p4p, 133 weight class). Stern has chosen Fight as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bone Breaker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kip Stern!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Alan Glass and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stern leaves Breaker with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Stern chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Breaker can pounce on him.
Some wild striking there from Stern.
Stern is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Breaker.
Stern throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Stern cracks Breaker with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Stern shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Breaker is trying to defend but Stern finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Breaker definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Breaker has a hand on Stern's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Stern takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

Breaker got a little sloppy there for a moment and Stern has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Breaker has managed to get both his arms back between Stern's legs - danger averted.

Stern looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Breaker with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

That was a close second round but I would say that Bone Breaker will probably get the nod.
