Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dill Nickle (ranked 1695 p4p, 1914 weight class) and Adrian Sterling (ranked 145 p4p, 155 weight class). Sterling is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Snake by Lil Keed. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dill Nickle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Adrian Sterling!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Winston Howard and Donatello Bradman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sterling tries to score a power double leg takedown but Nickle sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sterling somewhat.
Nickle looks to score with a jab to the body but Sterling is just out of range.
Sterling goes for a double leg but Nickle avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Nickle continues to drive forward.
Nickle ducks under a wild hook from Sterling.
Nickle tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Sterling manages to circle out of the way.
Sterling misses with a wild combination.

Nickle shoots in and gets a takedown into Sterling's guard.

Sterling working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Nickle doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Nickle manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Nickle got a little sloppy there for a moment and Sterling has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Nickle has managed to get both his arms back between Sterling's legs - danger averted.

Sterling is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Nickle defends well.

Nickle is in close to Sterling's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Sterling isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Nickle stacks Sterling on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Nickle!
Sterling is looking to reverse the position.
Nickle works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Nickle creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Sterling takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Sterling is trying to improve his position.
Sterling is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Sterling has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Nickle is working away from the top position though.
Nickle lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Sterling is still in real trouble! Can Nickle finish him?

Nickle is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Sterling has managed to free his arm - good work.

Nickle wants to work for an arm triangle but Sterling is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Nickle slips a nice elbow through Sterling's hands, connecting with Sterling's forehead.
Sterling looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Nickle lands a big elbow - Sterling is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Nickle!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dill Nickle!
Dill Nickle decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
