Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Will Wrecks (ranked 57 p4p, 198 weight class) and Bob Bronte (ranked 4 p4p, 16 weight class). Bronte is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Buffalo Charge by Dub Phizix and Strategy. Bob Bronte has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 28 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Will Wrecks!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bob Bronte!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Andrew Berry and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bronte takes a swing at Wrecks's ribcage but misses.
Bronte wants to clinch but Wrecks slips to the side
and Wrecks counters with a nice uppercut.

It looks like Bob Bronte has been cut.
Wrecks misses with a hook.
Wrecks keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Bronte throws a hook to the side of Wrecks's head but Wrecks sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
It looked like Wrecks wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Wrecks slaps away a takedown attempt from Bronte, before circling back to the center of the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bronte misses the shot to the body.
Bronte digs a good body shot into Wrecks's ribs.

Wrecks pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Wrecks connects with the punch.
Will Wrecks is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

It looks like Will Wrecks has been cut.
Bronte fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Wrecks manages to avoid it.
Wrecks swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

Bronte throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Wrecks tumbling to the canvas!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bronte throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Wrecks works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Bronte stands and throws Wrecks's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Bronte wants to lay and pray for a moment but Wrecks keeps working.

Bronte tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bronte thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Bronte tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bronte is looking to take a break and control but Wrecks is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Wrecks tries to control but Bronte manages to take his back.

Bronte is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Wrecks knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Wrecks for a finish.
Bronte looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Wrecks looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.

Bronte looking to break Wrecks's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Wrecks remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Bronte will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Bronte is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Wrecks is defending well though. Bronte let's go of the attempt for now.
Well, with Bronte on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Wrecks is tapping out... Can he escape the position?

Wrecks is looking to counter punch.
Bronte throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Bronte throws a right hand that Wrecks ducks under and follows up with a left that Wrecks also avoids with ease.

Bronte gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Wrecks digs a right hand underneath Bronte's ribcage. Bronte let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Wrecks lands a hook to the side of the head.
Bronte has a couple of punches blocked by Wrecks.

Bronte breaks the clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bronte throws a lazy uppercut
and Wrecks counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Wrecks staying out of range there.

Bronte lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Wrecks sprawling to the canvas. Bronte follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Wrecks hang on?

Wrecks is rocked!
Bronte with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Oh Wrecks is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bronte's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Wrecks seems to have got his legs back now.

Bronte is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Bronte is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Wrecks is not content to let Bronte control the position.

Bronte seems to be looking for submissions.
Bronte is trying to control. Wrecks wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Will Wrecks has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Wrecks is positioning himself well to prevent Bronte advancing to mount.
Bronte tries to pass to full mount but Wrecks defends it.

Bronte tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Wrecks manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Bronte throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Wrecks throws a shot from downtown. Bronte moves away and avoids it.
Bronte looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Bronte closes the distance but Wrecks moves to the side
and Wrecks counters with a stiff right hand.

Wrecks sends Bronte crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Wrecks is motioning to the referee to let Bronte up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Bronte moves into the clinch successfully.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Wrecks fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Bronte manages to break the clinch.
Bronte throws a right and a left that both miss.
An attempted straight right counter from Wrecks misses the target.
Bronte tries to clinch up but Wrecks circles away and keeps his distance.
Wrecks thinks about countering with a head kick.

and Bronte counters with a two punch combo.

Bronte takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Bronte ducks under a wild hook from Wrecks.

Bronte throws a right hand that Wrecks ducks under and follows up with a left that Wrecks also avoids with ease.
A little feinted left hand from Wrecks on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Bronte slips under a jab from Wrecks.
Bronte's jab looks to have found its range, popping Wrecks under the eye.
Bronte dips to his left and cracks Wrecks with an uppercut!
Bronte misses with a lunging right hand

and Wrecks counters with a crisp right hand that drops Bronte! Wrecks lets Bronte back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bronte misses with a double jab
and Wrecks scores with a counter punch that sends Bronte to the canvas! Wrecks smells blood - he's punishing Bronte with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Bronte has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:47 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Will Wrecks!
An out of breath Will Wrecks thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
