Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shape Shifter (ranked 1313 p4p, 2414 weight class) and Anthony Lalime (ranked 204 p4p, 333 weight class). Shape Shifter has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 17 - 0, fighting out of London, Shape Shifter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 17 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Anthony Lalime!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Lalime feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Shifter sprawling to the canvas! Shifter rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Lalime finish him?!
It looks like Shape Shifter has been cut.
Lalime throws a lazy right hand but Shifter sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Shifter fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Lalime avoids it really well and circles away.
Shifter closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Lalime bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!

Shifter darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Shifter seems to be working for a kimura but Lalime defends the submission attempt.

Shifter has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Lalime defend it? Shifter steps over the head and cranks it - Lalime is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Shifter!
