Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mousa Ndombele (ranked 1480 p4p, 929 weight class) and Alcide Almunecar (ranked 208 p4p, 129 weight class). Alcide Almunecar told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mousa Ndombele!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alcide Almunecar!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Ackerman and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Ndombele misses.
Almunecar raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Ndombele jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Ndombele throws a shot to the body.
Ndombele pivots, looking for a leg kick but Almunecar is out of range and Ndombele settles back down.
Ndombele misses with an uppercut
and Almunecar counters with a nice leg kick.
Ndombele does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Ndombele throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Ndombele moves out of range of the strikes.
Ndombele takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Almunecar lands with a thumping leg kick.
Almunecar throws a hook but Ndombele avoids it easily.
Ndombele rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Almunecar counters with a nice body shot.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Ndombele, as that shot connected.
Ndombele throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Almunecar throws a jab when Ndombele was well out of range.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ndombele looks to score with a jab to the body but Almunecar is just out of range.
Mousa Ndombele seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Almunecar goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Almunecar moves away from the strike by Ndombele.

Almunecar ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Almunecar was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.

Ndombele swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Almunecar.
Almunecar avoids the body shot from Ndombele.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Almunecar throws a hook to the side of Ndombele's head but Ndombele sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
The crowd cheers as Almunecar lands an impressive looking overhand right. Ndombele doesn't seem phased though.

Ndombele lets loose with a powerful body kick. Almunecar will feel that in the morning.

It seemed like Almunecar was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

and Almunecar counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Ndombele connects with a body shot that sends Almunecar's belly button to the back.

Ndombele fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Almunecar manages to avoid it.
The fighters circling - Almunecar throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Ndombele plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

Almunecar lands a big head kick that sends Ndombele to the canvas! Almunecar follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!

A relieved looking Alcide Almunecar thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
