Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rumsfeld Shart (ranked 3216 p4p, 3531 weight class) and Taistelu Jaska (ranked 412 p4p, 436 weight class). Jaska has chosen Taistelu Jaska Theme from youtube as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rumsfeld Shart!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Taistelu Jaska!
The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, Ben Watson and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jaska throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Shart looking to score a takedown here. Jaska is defending well but Shart drives through and ends up in Jaska's guard.
Shart sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Shart's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Jaska really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Shart. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Shart slips nicely into half guard.
Shart gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Shart on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
A right-left combo lands from Jaska.
Left hook, right uppercut from Jaska.
Jaska stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jaska wants it to stay on the feet.
Shart misses with a takedown attempt - Jaska sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Shart closes the distance but Jaska moves to the side
and Jaska counters with a flying knee that drops Shart!
Shart is rocked!
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Shart is on top in guard.
Jaska is adopting a defensive guard.
Shart looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Jaska looking to hit a scissor sweep but Shart is one step ahead there.
Jaska can't keep his opponent in guard - Shart advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Shart controlling the pace.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Jaska is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Shart stands up and beckons Jaska to join him on the feet.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Shart is defended easily by Jaska.
Jaska lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Taistelu Jaska dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Jaska goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Jaska uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Shart.
Despite the aggression on Jaska's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Jaska misses with a kick to the body
and Shart counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Jaska wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Shart manages to pass to side control.
Jaska avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Shart.

Shart drops an elbow to the side of Jaska's head.
Shart thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Jaska's head.
Jaska wants to get back to his feet.

Shart looking for a submission but Jaska manages to get full guard, putting an end to that submission attempt.
Shart trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Shart slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
We've been informed that Jaska has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Rumsfeld Shart overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Jaska throws a series of strikes that have Shart backpedaling.

Jaska misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jaska scores with a jab.
Jaska misses with a body kick.
Jaska has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Shart tries to clinch but Jaska is having none of it.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Jaska! But no joy.

Taistelu Jaska seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jaska misses with a kick to the body.
Shart takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Jaska throws a head kick that half lands.
Oh Shart is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jaska lands a jab to Shart's midsection.
Jaska throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Shart seems to have got his legs back now.
Jaska lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Shart circles away quickly and effectively.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Taistelu Jaska is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Shart drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Jaska tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.

Shart scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Jaska?

Taistelu Jaska showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Shart shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jaska sprawls well. Jaska wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Shart gets slowly back to his feet.

Taistelu Jaska spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
The defeated Rumsfeld Shart had this to say: 'You either win or you learn, this time I learned... Ossss'.
