Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Borwornsit Ngam Chit (ranked 1578 p4p, 948 weight class) and Tommy Santoro (ranked 195 p4p, 120 weight class). Santoro comes into a darkened arena with his song building. MERCURY kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Borwornsit Ngam Chit!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tommy Santoro!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Ryoma Takatsuka and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Santoro moves out of range as Ngam Chit strikes.
Ngam Chit throws a lazy uppercut
and Santoro cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Ngam Chit works the jab nicely.
Ngam Chit fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Santoro looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Santoro explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Santoro lands a really nice looking cross but Ngam Chit seems unphased.
Santoro is looking to clinch but Ngam Chit is avoiding it.

Ngam Chit throws out a loose jab but Santoro uses good head movement to avoid it.
Ngam Chit backing away here, and Santoro unleashes a leg kick that just misses.
Santoro pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

It seemed like Santoro was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

A nice side step and Santoro releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

and Santoro counters with a nice kick to the body.
Ngam Chit throws a hook but Santoro blocks it.
Ngam Chit throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Santoro looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Santoro tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Ngam Chit manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Ngam Chit throws a hook but Santoro avoids it easily.
Santoro swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Santoro fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Santoro closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

That was a close round but I would say that Borwornsit Ngam Chit will probably get the nod.

A relieved looking Tommy Santoro thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
