Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Braynas Hlervu (ranked 20 p4p, 398 weight class) and Bethania Valverde (ranked 2 p4p, 25 weight class). Hlervu's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Al Qawlu Qawlu Sawarim. Valverde is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: LLAMAME YA. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bethania Valverde!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Chris Edwards and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valverde misses with a shot to the body
and Hlervu counters with a straight right hand.
Valverde tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Bethania Valverde seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Valverde misses with a straight left.
Hlervu quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Valverde rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Hlervu counters with a nice right hand that sends Valverde toppling to the canvas! Valverde scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Hlervu finish him?!
Valverde is rocked!
It looks like Bethania Valverde has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Valverde misses with a right hand
and Hlervu counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Valverde out cold! What a finish! Hlervu is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
