Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Small Dayton (ranked 678 p4p, 1901 weight class) and Brandon Rose (ranked 53 p4p, 156 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Small Dayton !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brandon Rose!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Dean Styles and Columbo Gatti.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rose lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dayton circles away quickly and effectively.
Dayton on the wrong end of a nice jab.
No joy there for Rose, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Rose misses with a double jab

and Dayton counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Dayton avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Dayton has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Dayton stands up over Rose, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Rose looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Dayton puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Rose working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dayton doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Dayton manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Dayton postures up and lands a big shot to Rose's brow.
Dayton has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Dayton cracks Rose with a solid left hand.
Dayton works over Rose with some ground and pound from guard.
Rose has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Dayton has passed into side control.
Rose tries to improve position but can't.

Dayton swings around for an armbar but Rose sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Dayton 's guard.

Rose is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Dayton has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Rose is looking to defend but Dayton has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Rose! Dayton pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Rose taps out and this one is all over!
