Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rimtas Kentas (ranked 295 p4p, 478 weight class) and Tommy Vercetti (ranked 44 p4p, 68 weight class). Vercetti is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Vice City. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Tommy Vercetti was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Tommy Vercetti!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Darius Henderson and Hugh Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vercetti throws a jab but it's blocked by Kentas.
A counter left hand to the body from Kentas misses its target.
Kentas comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
We've been informed that Vercetti has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Kentas closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Kentas moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Vercetti has worked his arm free - good work by Vercetti!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kentas goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Vercetti has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Kentas but great work by Vercetti.

That was a close round but I would say that Rimtas Kentas will probably get the nod.
