Side has chosen In the Dark - Vintage Culture, Fancy Inc as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 12 - 1, fighting out of New York, Lucas McCain !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Iron Side!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCain misses with an uppercut.
McCain looks to land a left hand but Side moved out of range nicely.
McCain takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Side drops McCain with a nice combination! Side dives into McCain 's guard, looking to finish!
It looks like Lucas McCain has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Side throwing strikes from guard but McCain blocks nicely.
Side slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
McCain tries to escape but Side is in control.
Side looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
McCain is not content to let Side control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Side has knee on belly momentarily but McCain bucks him off and regains half guard.
Side wants to free his trapped foot but McCain is holding on for dear life with his legs.
McCain makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Side throws a jab but it's blocked by McCain .
Side throws a right and a left that McCain avoids nicely.
Side looks to land a left hand but McCain moved out of range nicely.
McCain misses with a right hand
letting Side counter with a right hand.
McCain misses with a hook
and Side counters with a nice body shot.
Side catches McCain with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
McCain moves in looking to clinch but Side pushes him off.
Side has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as McCain is landing a low percentage of strikes.
McCain throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Side! But no joy.
Side throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on McCain 's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Side dives in looking to finish as McCain flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Side's strikes! Side is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! McCain 's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but McCain was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Iron Side!
