Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between JD Drake (ranked 858 p4p, 1042 weight class) and Devin Hill (ranked 48 p4p, 64 weight class). Drake comes to the cage accompanied by Born in the USA by - Bruce Springstein. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, JD Drake!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 17 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Devin Hill!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shirou Masuda and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drake throws a series of punches but Hill moves out of range.

A little jabbing left from Hill on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Drake controls Hill momentarily but Hill frees himself.

Hill has gone for a leg lock! Drake slips out almost immediately though and dives into Hill's guard.
Hill has a closed guard, preventing Drake from standing up.
Hill escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Drake gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Hill has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Drake can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Drake stands up and waves to Hill to follow him.

Devin Hill showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
