Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Medium Guy (ranked 23854 p4p, 23583 weight class) and Medium Mann (ranked 568 p4p, 554 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 25 - 2, fighting out of London, Medium Guy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 6 - 2, fighting out of London, Medium Mann!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guy tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Mann paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Mann ducks under a wild hook from Guy.
Mann keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Guy tries to close the distance and clinch but Mann swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A looping hook to the body misses from Guy. Mann does a little dance to reset his feet.

Guy connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Guy throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Mann lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Guy creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Guy throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Mann blocks it with crossed arms.

Mann is trying to push Guy away but Guy has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Mann's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

and Mann counters with a straight right hand.
Guy cracks Mann with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Guy has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Mann to stand back up!
Medium Mann is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Guy does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Mann circles away from the clinch attempt.
Guy looks to clinch
and Mann counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Guy moves into the clinch successfully.
Mann wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Guy has him pressed against the cage.

Guy throws a head punch that misses.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Mann.
Mann takes a jab right on the kisser.
Guy lands a big uppercut and Mann crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Mann looks OK. Guy waves Mann back to his feet!

Mann uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Guy.

Guy wants to take the fight to the mat but Mann manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Medium Guy dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Mann uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Guy.
Medium Guy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Oh Guy is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

and Mann connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

A close second round but Medium Mann will probably get the nod - 10:9.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
