Ayari comes to the cage accompanied by Samira Said - Yallah Rouh. The key to victory for Mounir Ayari has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ayari scores with a one two! Jackson had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

It looks like Jon Jackson has been cut.

Jackson steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Ayari. That one must have hurt.

Jackson drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Ayari defends it well.

Ayari throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
And Jackson tries to counter it with a takedown but Ayari pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Jackson doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Jackson takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Ayari paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ayari lands a head shot.
Ayari lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Jackson has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Ayari finds it's way round the side to connect with Jackson's head.

Mounir Ayari has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jon Jackson.

Ayari cracks Jackson with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Jackson looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Ayari finish him?

Jackson is aggressively charging in as Ayari backs up avoiding any damage. Ayari tosses out a jab and Jackson runs right into it face first! Jackson is out cold! Ayari dropped down on all fours and is barking in Jackson's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
