Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Swole Ricky Martin (ranked 39 p4p, 193 weight class) and Taz McKane (ranked 7 p4p, 30 weight class). McKane has chosen SAVE ME as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Taz McKane enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Swole Ricky Martin!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Taz McKane!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Eddie Farnsworth and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martin tries a low kick but McKane avoids it.
Martin throws a jab but it's blocked by McKane.
Martin misses with a straight left.
McKane lets loose with a powerful body kick. Martin will feel that in the morning.
Martin lands an overhand right.
McKane keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Martin.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Martin throws a half hearted mid kick.
McKane appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.

and Martin counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Martin throws a body punch but McKane moves out of range.

Martin lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
McKane tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
McKane doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Martin moves forwards but McKane connects with a nice, crisp jab.

McKane walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Martin misses with a left hand
and McKane counters with an inside leg kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Martin thows a left - swing and a miss!
McKane doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Martin looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Martin throws the left hand but McKane avoids the punch easily.
Swole Ricky Martin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A solid leg kick lands there for McKane.
Martin fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and McKane has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

McKane throws a fast counter high kick but Martin manages to duck under it in time.
McKane lunges at Martin with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Martin's hand.

Martin lands a nice looking kick to the body. McKane takes a step back to recover.

It looked like Martin wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Martin uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Donk. McKane catches Martin right on the button with a cross.
McKane bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
McKane swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Martin.
Good work by McKane as he checks the leg kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
McKane changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Martin throws an off balance right hand

and McKane counters with a right hand that sends Martin tumbling to the canvas! Can McKane finish him? He dives into Martin's guard looking to do just that!
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Taz McKane will probably get the nod.

It seemed like McKane was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Martin thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on McKane if he has to take too many more of those.

Martin turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

McKane throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Martin keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Martin throws out a powerful jab.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
McKane avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Martin cracks McKane with a hook to the temple - McKane is on wobbly legs here! Martin swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! McKane falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Martin wins by TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:52 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Swole Ricky Martin!

A relieved looking Swole Ricky Martin thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
