Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Yoshimitsu Fukumitsu (ranked 1185 p4p, 961 weight class) and Brendon Carrillo-Moreno (ranked 91 p4p, 69 weight class). Fukumitsu kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is help_urself. Brendon Carrillo-Moreno has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 17 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yoshimitsu Fukumitsu! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 13 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Brendon Carrillo-Moreno! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Atkins and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A swing and a miss from Fukumitsu. Fukumitsu sets himself, and Carrillo-Moreno steps forward looking for the clinch! Fukumitsu avoids it this time. Carrillo-Moreno throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Carrillo-Moreno misses with a takedown and Fukumitsu counters with a nice uppercut. Fukumitsu digs a good body shot into Carrillo-Moreno's ribs. Fukumitsu cracks Carrillo-Moreno with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Carrillo-Moreno pivots, looking for a leg kick but Fukumitsu is out of range and Carrillo-Moreno settles back down. Fukumitsu throws a right and a left that Carrillo-Moreno avoids nicely. Carrillo-Moreno tries a low kick but Fukumitsu avoids it. Carrillo-Moreno shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Fukumitsu pinned against the ropes. Fukumitsu gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. A combination from Fukumitsu does no damage. Fukumitsu lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Fukumitsu. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Carrillo-Moreno uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Fukumitsu. Carrillo-Moreno throws a body kick, spinning off balance letting Fukumitsu counter with a right hand. Carrillo-Moreno fails with the takedown. Yoshimitsu Fukumitsu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brendon Carrillo-Moreno. Carrillo-Moreno misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carrillo-Moreno closes the distance and clinches up with Fukumitsu, looking for a takedown. Carrillo-Moreno pushes Fukumitsu against the ropes but Fukumitsu circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. A left lands for Fukumitsu. Yoshimitsu Fukumitsu is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Carrillo-Moreno shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Carrillo-Moreno showed some decent athleticism there. Carrillo-Moreno content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Fukumitsu pushes Carrillo-Moreno off looking to stand but Carrillo-Moreno dives back in and keeps control.
Carrillo-Moreno is trying to control. Fukumitsu wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Carrillo-Moreno stops Fukumitsu from getting back to his feet.
Carrillo-Moreno seems to be looking for submissions.
Fukumitsu is trying to stand back up but Carrillo-Moreno is controlling him
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Carrillo-Moreno tries to score a power double leg takedown but Fukumitsu sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Carrillo-Moreno somewhat. Fukumitsu connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Fukumitsu slaps away a takedown attempt from Carrillo-Moreno, before circling back to the center of the mat. Carrillo-Moreno tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Fukumitsu swivels and escapes. A slow jab from Fukumitsu misses its intended target. Carrillo-Moreno has his takedown stuffed letting Fukumitsu counter with a right hand. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Fukumitsu, as that shot connected.
Carrillo-Moreno moves out of range as Fukumitsu strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nice straight punches there by Fukumitsu. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Fukumitsu. Fukumitsu moves away from the strike by Carrillo-Moreno. Carrillo-Moreno throws a push kick but Fukumitsu slaps the foot to one side. Fukumitsu scores with a hook. Fukumitsu swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Carrillo-Moreno.
Carrillo-Moreno is rocked! A big left from Carrillo-Moreno misses. Carrillo-Moreno is still on wobbly legs! Can Fukumitsu finish him? Carrillo-Moreno shoots and misses and Fukumitsu counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Fukumitsu cracks Carrillo-Moreno with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes. Fukumitsu slips a jab and a cross from Carrillo-Moreno.
Fukumitsu is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Carrillo-Moreno takes one to the chin there. Fukumitsu drops Carrillo-Moreno with a big left hand! Carrillo-Moreno is injured, injured bad! Fukumitsu jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Yoshimitsu Fukumitsu!
