Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wahwah uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Mineiro.
Mineiro throws a hook to the side of Wahwah's head but Wahwah sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Wahwah clinches up with Mineiro and pushes him back against the cage.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Wahwah trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Mineiro manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!

That was a close round but I would say that Elinho Mineiro will probably get the nod.

Mineiro takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Wahwah uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mineiro.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Wahwah! But no joy.
Wahwah throws a sloppy head kick and Mineiro moves out of range easily.
Wahwah lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Mineiro circles away quickly and effectively.
Wahwah pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Mineiro comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Wahwah has managed to clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kimbo Wahwah showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
