Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between A. Mere Con (ranked 1185 p4p, 1384 weight class) and Johnny Bronco (ranked 150 p4p, 169 weight class). Con comes to the cage accompanied by Born In The USA - Bruce Springsteen. Bronco has chosen The Horses - Daryl Braithwaite as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Johnny Bronco acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 38 - 19 - 3, fighting out of New York, Johnny Bronco!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Hugh Johnson and Ben Hemmingworth.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Con pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Con misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bronco.
Bronco lands a really nice looking cross but Con seems unphased.
Bronco looks to throw the jab but Con is out of range.
Bronco staying out of range there.
Bronco throws out a counter right but Con avoids it with no problem.

Bronco has closed the distance and engaged Con in a clinch.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Con.
Con tries to work over Bronco's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Bronco.
Bronco misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Con misses with a short punch on the inside.
Bronco tries to pull guard but Con won't allow it.
A nice right hand lands inside from Con.
Bronco lands with a short shot to the head.
Bronco blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Con.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Con.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Con lands a right hand.
Bronco tries to pull guard but Con holds him up against the cage and eventually Bronco drops back down to his feet.
Bronco misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Con throws a head punch that misses.
Bronco tries to pull guard but Con forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
A. Mere Con has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johnny Bronco.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Con misses with a punch on the inside.
Con doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Bronco misses with a hook to the ribs.
Bronco tries to pull guard but Con won't allow it.

Bronco ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Bronco no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Con is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Bronco has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Con is looking to defend but Bronco has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Con! Bronco pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Con taps out and this one is all over!
