Coppola comes to the cage accompanied by Duality. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coppola throws out a loose jab but Waterfall uses good head movement to avoid it.

Coppola is working for takedown but Waterfall is calmly controlling the position for now.
Waterfall is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Coppola gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Waterfall avoids the head kick by Coppola.

A nice inside leg kick there by Coppola. That's going to slow Waterfall down.
Coppola tries for a takedown but Waterfall circles away easily
and Waterfall counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Coppola thinking.

Waterfall avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Waterfall tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Coppola is able to avoid easily.
Waterfall looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Coppola does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Coppola is defended easily by Waterfall.
Waterfall tries to counter with a clinch but Coppola shakes him off and moves away.

Waterfall closes the distance and clinches.

Coppola throws a big right hand that misses.
Coppola wants to control from the top but Waterfall keeps moving.

Coppola is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Waterfall is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Waterfall has escaped and now he's on top!

Waterfall slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Waterfall got a little sloppy there for a moment and Coppola has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Waterfall has managed to get both his arms back between Coppola's legs - danger averted.

Coppola is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Waterfall has his hands clasped together but Coppola extends and breaks Waterfall's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Coppola.
