Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rimtas Kentas (ranked 228 p4p, 534 weight class) and Rockwell Mcgee (ranked 33 p4p, 74 weight class). Mcgee is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: No More Hot Dogs. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kentas tries to clinch there but Mcgee circles away.
Mcgee let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Kentas throws an overhand right that lands on Mcgee's shoulder, as Mcgee tries to avoid the shot.
Kentas throws a body shot but no joy.
Kentas misses the shot to the body.
Mcgee jabs at Kentas's body.

Kentas is looking to counter with a shot to the body.

Mcgee is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Mcgee told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Kentas is looking to wear down Mcgee with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Kentas lands a nice hook to Mcgee's body. Mcgee takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Kentas is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Mcgee.
Kentas fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Mcgee looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Mcgee wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Kentas fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Mcgee sprawls well initially but Kentas persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Mcgee is refusing to be controlled, as Kentas sits in half guard.

Kentas is looking for a kimura but Mcgee is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Kentas to get the leverage.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Mcgee jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Kentas fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mcgee manages to avoid it.
Kentas wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

A little feinted left hand from Kentas on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Kentas moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It looks like Rimtas Kentas has been cut.

Mcgee throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Kentas lunges at Mcgee with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Mcgee's hand.

Kentas is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Mcgee can do to turn this around?

Kentas lands a nice hook to Mcgee's body. Mcgee takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Mcgee will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

A close second round but Rockwell Mcgee will probably get the nod - 10:9.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Mcgee throws a hook but Kentas blocks it.
Mcgee takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Mcgee counters with a deadly accurate combination that rocks Kentas badly! He tries to strike back but Mcgee puts an end to that with another precision combo that knocks Kentas out cold! Oh man, Kentas will never hear the end of this one!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:48 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Rockwell Mcgee!
Rockwell Mcgee looked relieved post fight as he said the following; 'I’ve got something to say to my wife: Wash them toes, baby, ‘cause daddy’s comin’ home!'.
