Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Caleb Jones (ranked 2014 p4p, 3036 weight class) and Boon Nam Noi (ranked 156 p4p, 219 weight class). Noi has chosen Trap Queen as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Caleb Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Boon Nam Noi!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Russell Pearce and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Noi misses with a body kick.
Noi misses with a low kick.
A low kick from Noi is predictable there
and Noi takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Noi throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Jones's head.
A low kick lands for Noi.
Jones has Noi up against the cage in a clinch.
Jones definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Jones jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Noi walks away with a smile on his face. Jones gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Noi throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Jones tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Noi follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
Jones looks to throw the jab but Noi is out of range.
Noi chopping away at his opponent's legs.

Jones misses the shot to the body.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Jones seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
An inside leg kick lands from Noi.
Noi with a nice calf kick.
Jones throws a hook but Noi avoids it easily.
Noi flicks out a counter leg kick but Jones steps away.
Jones blocks a low kick nicely.
Noi throws a front kick that sends Jones stumbling back into the cage.
Noi misses with a low kick.
Jones moves into range and clinches up with Noi.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Noi is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Noi misses with a short punch on the inside.
Jones digs a right hand into Noi's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Noi's gas tank.
Jones tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Noi trying to stall but Jones improves his position.
Jones manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Noi must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Jones is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Noi has his hands clasped together but Jones extends and breaks Noi's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Jones.
