Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between White Cole (ranked 303 p4p, 149 weight class) and Roman Zhdanov (ranked 42 p4p, 18 weight class). Zhdanov comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Малиновая Лада (Raspberry Lada) by Gayazov$ Brother$ kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Roman Zhdanov has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with White Cole's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, White Cole!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Roman Zhdanov!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Kenichi Hosakawa and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cole keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Zhdanov.
Cole went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Zhdanov has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Cole cracks Zhdanov with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Zhdanov takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Cole lands with an uppercut that bounces Zhdanov off the cage and back into range.
Cole misses with a hook.
Cole really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Cole ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Cole no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cole is looking for a triangle but Zhdanov pushes his legs off easily.
Cole escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Zhdanov gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Cole isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Zhdanov stacks Cole on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Zhdanov!
Zhdanov is looking to take a break and control but Cole is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cole can't do much from the bottom here.

Cole is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Zhdanov is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Zhdanov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cole. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Cole is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.

Cole parries the strikes from Zhdanov easily there. Zhdanov is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Cole to escape.

That was a close round but I would say that White Cole will probably get the nod.

Cole has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at White Cole's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Roman Zhdanov!
After winning the bout, Roman Zhdanov thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
