Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kullo Kross (ranked 755 p4p, 565 weight class) and Kip Stern (ranked 117 p4p, 89 weight class). Stern has chosen Fight as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kullo Kross!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kip Stern!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, William Peck and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stern throws a lazy head kick
and Kross connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Kross throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Kross misses the jab.
Stern throws out a counter right but Kross avoids it with no problem.
Stern thows a leg kick but Kross checks it
and Kross cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Stern misses with a hook. Kross ducked under it nicely.
As Stern looks to move away, Kross throws a big counter combo but Stern just gets out of the way.
Stern feints and then cracks Kross's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kross down.
Nice uppercut lands for Kross. That snapped Stern's head back.
Stern throws a predictable looking body shot
and Kross counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Stern lands a leg kick that knocks Kross off balance momentarily.
A head kick by Stern misses
letting Kross counter with a right hand.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kross blocks a jab.
Kross lands a big right hand that sends Stern crashing to the mat! Kross stays standing though and waves Stern back to his feet!
Stern is rocked!
Stern looks to land a right hand but Kross moved out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Stern misses with a kick to the body
letting Kross counter with a right hand.
Stern is still on wobbly legs! Can Kross finish him?
Stern throws a push kick but Kross slaps the foot to one side.
Stern seems to have recovered his senses.
A low kick from Stern is predictable there
and Kross counters with a crisp right hand that drops Stern! Kross lets Stern back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Kross stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Stern.
A looping hook to the body misses from Stern. Kross does a little dance to reset his feet.
Stern fails with the takedown
and Kross connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Stern slips a jab from Kross.
Stern throws a sloppy body shot
and Kross counters with a straight right hand.
Kross pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Kross stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Stern.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Stern throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Kross checks a low kick from Stern.
Stern cracks Kross with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Stern with a nice calf kick.
Stern moves out of range of the body kick from Kross.
Kross avoids the body shot from Stern.
A head kick by Stern misses
and Kross counters with a straight right hand.
Stern misses with a jab to the body
and Kross counters with a crisp right hand that drops Stern! Kross lets Stern back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Stern with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Kross looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Stern rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Kross counters with a body kick that stops Stern in his tracks momentarily.
Kross checks the leg kick.
A low kick from Stern misses
and Kross counters with a nice uppercut.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kross closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Stern! Kross dives in looking to finish! Stern is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kullo Kross!
Kullo Kross is the new light heavyweight champion!
A relieved looking Kullo Kross thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
