Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Darragh Prendergast!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Gregory Folan and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prendergast throws a head kick that misses
so Anderson counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Darragh Prendergast has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Prendergast working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Anderson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Anderson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Anderson sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Prendergast's guard.

Anderson uses his free foot to push down on Prendergast's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Prendergast.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Prendergast is looking to improve his position but Anderson isn't that keen on the idea.

Prendergast wants to control but Anderson is having none of it.

Anderson cracks Prendergast with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Anderson has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Prendergast throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing.

Well Anderson has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
