Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Colton Wilder (ranked 930 p4p, 1715 weight class) and Tim Smooth (ranked 106 p4p, 189 weight class). Wilder comes to the cage accompanied by Tombstone - Avatar Darko. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Colton Wilder!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tim Smooth!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Alec Ball and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilder decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Wilder is trying to control the action in half guard but Smooth is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Wilder is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Smooth is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Wilder uses his free foot to push down on Smooth's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Smooth.
Smooth tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Wilder lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Smooth hang on?
It looks like Tim Smooth has been cut.
Smooth takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Wilder's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Colton Wilder!
