Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Esteban Mondragon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 18 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Minoari Amida! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Alec Ball and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Amida fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Amida misses with a head kick.
Mondragon blocks a head kick by Amida.
Amida misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Amida is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Mondragon moves away from the strike by Amida. Mondragon appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Amida misses with a double jab
and Mondragon counters with a shoot takedown. Amida fights it but they end up in guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mondragon trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Minoari Amida has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Amida wants to sweep here but Mondragon controlling him for the moment. Mondragon engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Mondragon passes into half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mondragon stalling.
That's one minute gone in the round. Amida wants to get back to full guard but Mondragon has mounted him! Amida is in all sorts of trouble here.
Mondragon takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Amida keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Mondragon controlling the position easily from mount. Mondragon's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mondragon pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.

Mondragon tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Amida is wriggling around trying to escape.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Mondragon controlling from mount. Amida is trying to reverse the position but instead Mondragon has taken his back - oops!
And that's the end of the fight! Esteban Mondragon showed his dominance in that final round. I think Mondragon has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
