Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jaro Lalla (ranked 2463 p4p, 2430 weight class) and Stony Marciano (ranked 111 p4p, 270 weight class). Marciano is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: IQ 98. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Stony Marciano!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lalla clinches up with Marciano and pushes him back against the cage.

Lalla is trying to trip Marciano. He has hold of a leg but Marciano is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Lalla persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Lalla's corner is telling him to maintain position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Marciano tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Lalla's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Lalla wants to control from the top but Marciano keeps moving.
Marciano really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lalla. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Marciano manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Lalla manages to get himself to full guard.

Marciano must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lalla can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Marciano controls the pace.

Lalla has his feet on Marciano's thighs here. He's pushed Marciano off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Marciano screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
