The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bermalingo gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Bermalingo has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Gorilla Gym in the buildup to the fight.
Bermalingo throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Lee steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Bermalingo.
Nice straight punches there by Bermalingo. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Bermalingo.
Bermalingo misses with the combination.
Bermalingo pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Lee back to the cage. Bermalingo follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Lee lands a jab to the head.

and Bermalingo counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Lee bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Bermalingo! He dives into his guard looking to finish!

Lee makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Lee stops Bermalingo from standing up.
Lee is in close to Bermalingo's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Lee prevents Bermalingo from getting back to his feet.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lee keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Bermalingo's head.
Bermalingo preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Bermalingo is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Lee manages to break the clinch.
Bermalingo throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Bermalingo lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Lee backs up against the cage.
Lee changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bermalingo looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lee is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
