Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Pocket Rocket (ranked 1819 p4p, 1999 weight class) and Saul Tacarante (ranked 128 p4p, 144 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pocket Rocket!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Saul Tacarante!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Columbo Gatti and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tacarante swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Rocket half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
A looping hook to the body misses from Rocket. Tacarante does a little dance to reset his feet.
Rocket takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Tacarante has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Rocket finds it's way round the side to connect with Tacarante's head.

Tacarante is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Rocket knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Tacarante connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Rocket's hands.
Rocket shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Tacarante as he avoids it easily.

Rocket clinches up with Tacarante and pushes him back against the cage.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Tacarante might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Rocket haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Rocket has his foot on Tacarante's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Tacarante works his way back into a safe position though.
Rocket bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Tacarante's guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Pocket Rocket will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
The crowd cheers as Rocket lands an impressive looking overhand right. Tacarante doesn't seem phased though.

Rocket drops his hands momentarily and Tacarante takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
