The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stepanovich buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Savage takes a swing at Stepanovich's ribcage but misses.
Savage will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Savage throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Stepanovich sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Savage is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.

No joy there for Savage, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Stepanovich cracks Savage on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Savage falls backwards against the cage. Stepanovich follows up with more strikes that drop Savage to his knees. Stepanovich keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Savage! This one is all over!
