Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Horacio Sadaval (ranked 1564 p4p, 2047 weight class) and Slugger Dunes (ranked 189 p4p, 235 weight class). Sadaval's entrance music is Prohibido Olvidar. A fine choice. Dunes comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The World's Greatest kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 11 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Horacio Sadaval! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 24 - 20 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Slugger Dunes! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Skip Squint and Ben Watson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dunes throws a leg kick that misses. Sadaval moves in looking to clinch but Dunes pushes him off. Dunes throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Sadaval tries to clinch but Dunes moves out of range. Sadaval fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Dunes sprawls well initially but Sadaval persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Dunes moves into full guard.
Sadaval keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Dunes's head. Sadaval wants to control from the top but Dunes keeps moving. Sadaval makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sadaval missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Sadaval with a flurry of punches that miss. Sadaval throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Dunes works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Sadaval landing with the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dunes wants to get back to his feet but Sadaval passes into half guard.
Sadaval trying to control from half guard but Dunes is working away. Dunes wants to control but Sadaval is keeping busy.
Sadaval looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Dunes with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Sadaval is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Sadaval blocks the strikes from Dunes.
Sadaval is trying to control the action in half guard but Dunes is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Dunes has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Sadaval is working away from the top position though. Dunes is trying to stand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sadaval lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Dunes is not content to let Sadaval control the position. We've been hearing that Sadaval has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Sadaval scoring with strikes to the body and head. Dunes is trying to stand.
Dunes gets full guard. Dunes trying to strike off his back.
Sadaval scoring with punches to the head and body. Sadaval postures up in Dunes's guard and throws a big left but Dunes blocks it. Dunes tries to strike from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sadaval scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Sadaval works over Dunes with some ground and pound from guard. Dunes is looking to stand up but Sadaval isn't so interested in that idea. Dunes wants to control but Sadaval passes easily into half guard.
Dunes throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Dunes wants to get back to his feet. Dunes misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Dunes is looking to get back to is feet but Sadaval passes into side control.
Sadaval wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dunes keeps working.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sadaval cracks Dunes with an elbow. That is naaassty. Sadaval lands a decent elbow from side control. Sadaval scores with punches from side control. Sadaval working the head and body with strikes. Sadaval lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Dunes is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Sadaval asserts his dominance and retains side control. Sadaval passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Dunes! Sadaval has his opponent pinned against the ropes, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Dunes's face.
This has been an exciting period of action! Dunes is bucking up trying to escape but Sadaval cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Dunes is trying to get to the ropes to help him get back to his feet.
Sadaval punishing his opponent with strikes. Sadaval has his opponent pinned against the ropes, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Dunes's face.
Dunes is rocked! Sadaval postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Dunes badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Sadaval around the waist but Sadaval pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Sadaval is the winner by TKO! Sadaval jumps onto the ropes and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
Ladies and gentlemen, after 5:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Horacio Sadaval! Horacio Sadaval tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
