The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Helix fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Corassa sprawls well initially but Helix persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Corassa has one foot on Helix's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Corassa cracks Helix with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Helix is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Corassa.
And Corassa responds with a good body kick, but Helix manages to step out the way in time.

Helix shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Corassa napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Corassa is not content to let Helix control the position.

Helix lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Corassa down.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
