Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Matt Seal (ranked 776 p4p, 725 weight class) and Mad Panda (ranked 61 p4p, 55 weight class). Matt Seal has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Matt Seal!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mad Panda!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Gregory Folan and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Panda moves away from the strike by Seal.
Seal stuffs the takedown attempt from Panda. Panda gets slowly back to his feet.
Seal ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Panda has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Seal throws a hook but Panda avoids it easily.
Seal misses with a wild body shot.
Seal jabs Panda to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Seal fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Panda on the side of the head.
Panda uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Seal.

Seal gets tackled into the cage by Panda. Panda maintains the clinch.
Seal jumps guard but Panda stands there with Seal around his waist. Seal gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Seal is trying to pull guard but Panda has him pressed against the cage.
Panda jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Seal walks away with a smile on his face. Panda gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Panda feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Panda got a little sloppy there for a moment and Seal has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Panda has managed to get both his arms back between Seal's legs - danger averted.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Seal controlling the position.

Seal is looking for a triangle but Panda pushes his legs off easily.

Panda is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Seal not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Seal has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Panda is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Seal.

Seal keeps Panda under control for a moment.
Panda trying to control the position but Seal is working away.
Panda is staying tight to Seal's torso, preventing him from escaping.

Panda wants to lay and pray for a moment but Seal keeps working.
Seal is looking for a sweep.

Seal can't do much from the bottom here.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Panda trying to control the position but Seal is working away.
Seal prevents Panda from moving into mount.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Seal tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Panda easily slips into full mount!
Seal is in all sorts of trouble here.
Seal tries to lock up and control but Panda gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Seal is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.

Panda is not going to allow Seal to sit and survive in this position.

I really don't envy Seal right now.

Panda trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
Panda slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Seal really must keep his cool here. He's controlling one of Panda's hands and whilst he does that, he's got a chance of escaping the position.

Panda sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Seal taps out!
