Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sebastion Lynar (ranked 1168 p4p, 1060 weight class) and Yodsingkhun Sitsongrit (ranked 147 p4p, 129 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 22 - 14 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sebastion Lynar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 22 - 16 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Yodsingkhun Sitsongrit! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Hirohito Nitta and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lynar misses with a two punch combination.

Lynar throws a hook but Sitsongrit blocks it. Sitsongrit tests Lynar's chin there with a solid looking shot. Lynar is looking for a takedown here. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Lynar is stalling here. That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Sitsongrit controls the position. That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Sitsongrit is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Lynar is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Sitsongrit working away. Sitsongrit takes a little break here. Lynar wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Lynar shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Sitsongrit doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Sitsongrit with a jab. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Lynar bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Sitsongrit changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Sitsongrit connects with a body shot that sends Lynar's belly button to the back. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Yodsingkhun Sitsongrit dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Sitsongrit tries to bum rush Lynar with a series of wild strikes but Lynar uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Lynar slips a straight right by Sitsongrit. Sitsongrit misses with a body shot.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Lynar wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Sitsongrit is now in half guard. Sitsongrit is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Lynar is trying to maintain the position but Sitsongrit is very close to passing his half guard. Sitsongrit prevents Lynar from improving his position. Sitsongrit is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sitsongrit stalling away here and it's allowed Lynar to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Lynar isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Sitsongrit stacks Lynar on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Sitsongrit! Lynar is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Sitsongrit's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Sitsongrit seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Lynar does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Yodsingkhun Sitsongrit showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round! Lynar blocks the body kick.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lynar has gone for a leg lock! Sitsongrit slips out almost immediately though and dives into Lynar's guard.
Sitsongrit postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Lynar is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Sitsongrit, into his guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Sitsongrit is trying to control the position but Lynar postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sitsongrit wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Lynar has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Sitsongrit keeping moving, preventing Lynar from controlling successfully. Lynar controls from within his opponent's guard. Sitsongrit pulls Lynar in close to his closed guard and prevents Lynar from doing any damage or advancing position.

Lynar shoots for a takedown but Sitsongrit saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Lynar moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Lynar looks to throw the jab but Sitsongrit is out of range. Sitsongrit looks to land a left hand but Lynar moved out of range nicely. Sitsongrit lands a nice shot that snaps Lynar's head back.
Sitsongrit blocks a jab. Sitsongrit has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Sitsongrit displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Lynar. Yodsingkhun Sitsongrit is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sebastion Lynar. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sitsongrit throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Nice jab there from Sitsongrit. Lynar is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Sitsongrit. Sitsongrit misses with a hook. Lynar ducked under it nicely. Lynar throws a lazy right hand but Sitsongrit sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Lynar drops his hands momentarily and Sitsongrit takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Sitsongrit fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lynar manages to avoid it. Sitsongrit misses with a straight left. This has been an exciting period of action! And that's the end of the fight! Yodsingkhun Sitsongrit comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Sitsongrit has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Yodsingkhun Sitsongrit! A very excited looking Yodsingkhun Sitsongrit rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
