Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Isopaa Mfer (ranked 835 p4p, 651 weight class) and James Crazyhorse (ranked 57 p4p, 39 weight class). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 16 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Isopaa Mfer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 16 - 13 - 0, fighting out of London, James Crazyhorse! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Sosuke Kotani and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mfer throws a hook to the side of Crazyhorse's head but Crazyhorse sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Crazyhorse moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Mfer throws a hook but Crazyhorse avoids it easily. Mfer lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Crazyhorse circles away quickly and effectively. Crazyhorse displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Mfer throws out the jab. Mfer drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Crazyhorse connects with a crisp jab. Mfer rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Crazyhorse makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Mfer really felt that one! Crazyhorse stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Mfer. Crazyhorse connects with a body shot. Mfer keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Crazyhorse misses with a wild body shot. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Mfer drives through and clinches with Crazyhorse against the cage.

Crazyhorse tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Mfer smiles and moves away.
Crazyhorse ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mfer moves away. Mfer misses the jab. Crazyhorse fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Mfer looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Crazyhorse avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Crazyhorse ducks under a wild hook from Mfer.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mfer takes a body punch but keeps moving. Crazyhorse misses with a wild body shot. Crazyhorse tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Mfer was well out of range. Poor timing from Crazyhorse. Mfer misses with a leg kick and Crazyhorse counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Mfer thinking. Mfer keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Crazyhorse. Mfer swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Mfer takes the fight into the clinch. Crazyhorse tries for a takedown but Mfer manages to get underhooks.
Crazyhorse misses with a punch to the body.
Mfer lands with a short shot to the head. Mfer misses with a hook to the ribs.
Mfer is working for takedown but Crazyhorse is calmly controlling the position for now. Mfer wants a takedown but no success here.
Mfer scores with a nice hook to the head. Crazyhorse misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Mfer.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Isopaa Mfer. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Crazyhorse. I was talking to Mfer's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Mfer tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Crazyhorse doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Mfer working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Mfer working aggressively here.
Mfer effectively controlling the action here. Mfer has a couple of punches blocked by Crazyhorse.

Mfer throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Crazyhorses head. Mfer tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Crazyhorse is trying to pull guard but Mfer has him pressed against the cage. Crazyhorse successfully pulls guard.
Crazyhorse is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mfer wants to stand but Crazyhorse is controlling his posture from full guard. Crazyhorse working a defensive guard here.
Crazyhorse is looking to cinch up a triangle. Mfer throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Crazyhorse's body to avoid the submission. Crazyhorse has instead reached around Mfer's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Crazyhorse arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
