Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Draconis (ranked 3267 p4p, 2122 weight class) and Huell Babineaux (ranked 327 p4p, 211 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tommy Draconis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Huell Babineaux! The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Vladimir Khabensky and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Babineaux misses the shot to the body. Babineaux stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Babineaux wants it to stay on the feet. Babineaux lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Babineaux swings widly with a right hand
and Draconis counters with a nice double leg into side control. Babineaux won't be happy with that. Draconis tries for a kimura but Babineaux is defending well. Draconis in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Draconis fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Draconis passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Babineaux! Babineaux is working to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Babineaux tries to hold on but Draconis pushes him away. Draconis thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Babineaux holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Draconis tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Draconis takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Babineaux has given up his back here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Draconis lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
It looks like Huell Babineaux has been cut. Babineaux really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Draconis. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Draconis looking for the RNC. Babineaux trying to control but not successfully. Babineaux is trying to break free.
Draconis has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. Draconis cracks Babineaux with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Babineaux from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
That has opened up Huell Babineaux's cut even more.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Huell Babineaux's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Tommy Draconis! After winning the bout, Tommy Draconis thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
