The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King keeps the fight on the outside.

and Namkhai counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

It looks like Lenny King has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Namkhai takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
A looping hook to the body misses from Namkhai. King does a little dance to reset his feet.
King swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

King lands a nice hook to Namkhai's body. Namkhai takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Namkhai ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
King backing away here, and Namkhai unleashes a leg kick that just misses.

King lands a big head kick that sends Namkhai tumbling to the mat! King takes a step backwards and waves Namkhai back to his feet - he wants the finish!

King swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Sloppy strikes from King. Those never looked like landing.
King closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

It seemed like Namkhai was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Namkhai is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! King had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.

Namkhai looks to score with a jab to the body but King is just out of range.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

King tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Namkhai was well out of range. Poor timing from King.

King rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Namkhai counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Namkhai lands with a kick to the ribs.
Namkhai circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! King drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Namkhai follows King to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
