Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lenny King (ranked 436 p4p, 235 weight class) and Temujin Namkhai (ranked 52 p4p, 30 weight class). Namkhai has chosen Batzorig Vaanchig - Mongolian Throat Singing as his entrance music. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 10 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lenny King! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Temujin Namkhai! The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Igor Prikhodko and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! King keeps the fight on the outside. King misses with a combination
and Namkhai counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. King with a hook. King misses with a combination
and Namkhai counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Lenny King has been cut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. King misses with an uppercut. Namkhai takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. A looping hook to the body misses from Namkhai. King does a little dance to reset his feet. King swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
That's one minute gone in the round. King steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Namkhai. King on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Namkhai. Namkhai obviously looking to wear him down.
King seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Namkhai is looking to clinch. Namkhai's hands are dropping dangerously low here and King connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Namkhai scrambles back to his feet.
It looks like Temujin Namkhai has been cut. Namkhai lands a head shot. Namkhai connects with the punch. A telegraphed right hand from King misses the target. King lands a jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Namkhai ducks under a wild hook from King. A telegraphed right hand from Namkhai misses the target. King pushing out the jab but it's not landing. The crowd cheers as Namkhai lands an impressive looking overhand right. King doesn't seem phased though. A jab from King misses. Namkhai looks like he wants to counter punch here. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Namkhai avoids a kick to the body.
King throws a body kick that misses. Namkhai thinks about the counter body kick. King is looking to clinch but Namkhai is avoiding it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. King swings widly with a right hand
and Namkhai cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. King lands a nice hook to Namkhai's body. Namkhai takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Namkhai ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. King backing away here, and Namkhai unleashes a leg kick that just misses. King lands a big head kick that sends Namkhai tumbling to the mat! King takes a step backwards and waves Namkhai back to his feet - he wants the finish! A thudding body kick lands there by King!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! King pushes Namkhai away with a front kick. Namkhai looks winded! King fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Namkhai looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A punch combination from King misses. King misses with an uppercut. Namkhai swings and misses with a hook to the body.
King swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Sloppy strikes from King. Those never looked like landing. King closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Lenny King's cut is getting worse. King is looking to land body kicks. It seemed like Namkhai was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Namkhai is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! King had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush. King misses with a right hand and Namkhai counters with a lovely straight right hand! Namkhai looks to score with a jab to the body but King is just out of range. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Lenny King dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. King tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Namkhai was well out of range. Poor timing from King. Namkhai swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Some wild striking there from King.
King swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Namkhai cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. King tried to score with a low kick but Namkhai checks it. King throws a wild body kick that Namkhai sees coming a mile off. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Namkhai! But no joy. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Namkhai goes for a high kick. It partially lands. King walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Lenny King's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

It seemed like Namkhai was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Namkhai ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. King is looking to land body kicks. Namkhai slips a straight right by King. Namkhai pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Nice shot by Namkhai. King misses with a right hand and Namkhai makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Namkhai slips under a jab. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
That's two minutes gone in the round. King rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Namkhai counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Namkhai lands with a kick to the ribs.
Namkhai circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! King drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Namkhai follows King to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Temujin Namkhai! Temujin Namkhai retains his heavyweight title! Temujin Namkhai seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
