Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Turk Key (ranked 2433 p4p, 2044 weight class) and Trei Bishop (ranked 170 p4p, 149 weight class). Bishop has chosen Mos Def - Auditorium as his entrance music. Turk Key has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Turk Key! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Trei Bishop! The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Emerson Jorge and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Key fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bishop manages to avoid it. Bishop looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Bishop is standing up over Key. Key looks to escape but Bishop dives into side control.
Bishop lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Key down.
Key is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Bishop cracks Key with an elbow. That is naaassty. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bishop connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Key some visible discomfort.
Key is being controlled here. Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground! Key is looking to reverse the position. Key really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Key is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Bishop asserts his dominance and retains side control. Key definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Key seems to have got his legs back now. Key is squirming around, avoiding Bishop's attempts to control the action. Key is in all sorts of trouble here.
Bishop lands a big elbow. Bishop lands a couple of good shots and Key has given up his back, trying to escape the position! Key is trapped and Bishop is scoring with shots to the head and body. Key knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bishop on the ground. Bishop lands punches and elbows. Bishop is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Key up.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Key is trying to remain composed but Bishop is hammering down strikes to the side of his head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Oooh a big shot gets through from Bishop. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!

Bishop really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Key. Key is trapped and Bishop is scoring with shots to the head and body. Key wants to get back to his feet. Key is taking damage to the body and head. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Trei Bishop dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Bishop's jab looks to have found its range, popping Key under the eye. Key fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Bishop uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Key. Bishop feints the counter takedown. Bishop instigates a clinch. Bishop changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Key fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Bishop slips under a jab from Key. Bishop with the counter takedown but Key avoids it easily. Bishop throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Key tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Bishop is in Key's guard. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Key wants to stand but Bishop is controlling the position. Key on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Key tries to get out of the position. Bishop landing some decent shots from guard. Bishop stops Key from standing up. Key doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Key is looking to stand back up but Bishop counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Key. Bishop takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Key taking some punishment here, with Bishop in his half guard. Bishop with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Trei Bishop has got the better of the ground game so far. Bishop lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Key looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Key is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Bishop scores with a couple of nice shots. Bishop is nestled in close to Key, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Bishop lands strikes from half guard. Bishop working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Bishop lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Bishop lands a nice short elbow. Bishop is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Key wants to improve his position but Bishop is controlling well.

He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Nice strikes from Bishop there. Bishop scores with a big shot! Key's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Key! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
