Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mawunyo Kato (ranked 24500 p4p, 5403 weight class) and Brodie Woods (ranked 511 p4p, 478 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Mawunyo Kato! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brodie Woods! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Columbo Gatti and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Woods looks to land a body kick but Kato moved away. Woods walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Kato checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Woods tries to land a front kick but Kato steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Kato fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Woods, pushing him back against the cage. Woods tries to break free but Kato pushes him back against the cage. Kato successfully pulls guard.
Kato looking for subs off his back but Woods has passed one foot through into half guard.
Kato is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Woods pulls his head out easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kato moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Woods wants to control from the top but Kato keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kato is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Kato is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Kato has his foot on Woods's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Woods works his way back into a safe position though. Kato looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Woods wants to control from the top but Kato keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Kato escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Woods gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Woods content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Kato has locked up a guillotine! Kato's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Woods is holding on here and Kato must be using up a lot of energy. Woods has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Kato gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Mawunyo Kato!
