PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kamu Havas (ranked 796 p4p, 927 weight class) and Puncher Face (ranked 54 p4p, 66 weight class). Havas comes to the cage accompanied by LXST CXNTURY - CARBON MIST. Puncher Face told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Puncher Face!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Bruno Hogan and Darius Henderson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Havas throws an off balance right hand
and Face connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Havas tests Face's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Face clinches with his opponent.

Face blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Havas lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Face lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Havas has a couple of punches blocked by Face.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Face creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Face keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Havas's efforts to push away.
A short left from Face.
Face jerks Havas's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Havas drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Face goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Face because Havas was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knee). Puncher Face!
After winning the bout, Puncher Face thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
