Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nathan Cruz (ranked 4553 p4p, 2185 weight class) and Deon Graves (ranked 417 p4p, 247 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Graves's choice of entrance music: THE ZOO. Deon Graves has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nathan Cruz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Deon Graves!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Andrew Berry and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cruz misses with a lunging right hand
and Graves makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Graves's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Graves duly obliges.
Graves cracks Cruz with a good jab.
Cruz throws out a loose jab but Graves uses good head movement to avoid it.
Graves throws out a counter right but Cruz avoids it with no problem.
Cruz takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Cruz looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Cruz takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
No joy there for Graves, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Graves sends Cruz crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Graves is motioning to the referee to let Cruz up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Cruz is rocked!
Graves punishes Cruz's body with a nice straight punch.
Oh Cruz is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Graves lands a big uppercut and Cruz crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Cruz looks OK. Graves waves Cruz back to his feet!
Cruz misses with a double jab.
Graves looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Graves throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Cruz is breathing heavily.
Cruz throws a nice looking combination but Graves bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Cruz seems to have got his legs back now.
Graves drops Cruz with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Cruz looks back up at him and smiles so Graves waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Graves ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Graves goes for a small jab and connects. Now Graves goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Cruz stumbles back but Graves runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Cruz to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Cruz will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Deon Graves!
