Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kwasi Kwong (ranked 123 p4p, 280 weight class) and Galen Dall Jr (ranked 18 p4p, 41 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 28 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kwasi Kwong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 15 - 0, fighting out of New York, Galen Dall Jr!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kwong fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Dall Jr is out of range.
Dall Jr drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Kwong defends it well.
Dall Jr on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
A big right from Dall Jr misses.
Dall Jr pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Kwong scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Kwong throws a hook to the side of Dall Jr's head but Dall Jr sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Dall Jr feints the counter takedown.
Kwong looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Dall Jr connects with an inside leg kick.

Kwong has Dall Jr up against the cage in a clinch.
Dall Jr struggles to land a body shot inside as Kwong controls his hands.

Dall Jr tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Kwong stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kwong wants it to stay on the feet.
A little feinted left hand from Kwong on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Dall Jr tries for a takedown but Kwong sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Kwong scores with a jab. Dall Jr acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Kwong throws a series of punches but Dall Jr avoids them all with ease.
Kwong will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Nice takedown defense from Kwong. No joy for Dall Jr on that attempt.
Kwasi Kwong has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Galen Dall Jr.

Dall Jr closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Kwong quickly recovers to half guard.

Dall Jr is working for a kimura but Kwong is defending it quite comfortably.
Kwong keeping hold of Dall Jr's head, controlling as best he can.

Dall Jr is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Kwong doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Dall Jr.

Dall Jr in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Kwong tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Dall Jr!
