Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 10 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Aeson Beckley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Billy Richards!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Vladimir Khabensky and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Richards throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Beckley tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Richards is in Beckley's guard.
Beckley is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Richards is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Richards pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Beckley is keeping the position for now.
Beckley wants to get back to his feet but Richards is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Richards is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Richards wants to control from the top but Beckley keeps moving.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Richards tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Beckley swivels and escapes.

Beckley gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Our sources have told us that Beckley has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight.

Richards wants to take the fight to the mat but Beckley manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Richards tries to break the clinch but Beckley is controlling the position.

Richards changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Beckley fights it off and pushes away nicely.

and Beckley counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Richards will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Richards shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Beckley counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Richards is still on wobbly legs! Can Beckley finish him?

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Beckley gets a clinch.
Richards tries to score a body lock takedown but Beckley shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Beckley gets through Richards's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Beckley breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Richards tries for a takedown but Beckley circles away easily
and Beckley scores with a counter punch that sends Richards to the canvas! Beckley smells blood - he's punishing Richards with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Richards has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Aeson Beckley!
