Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ernesto Mathieu (ranked 137 p4p, 265 weight class) and Sven Torvik (ranked 15 p4p, 19 weight class). Mathieu's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, F*ck Tha Police by NWA. Torvik has chosen MUPP & Sadfriendd - BLOODY! as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ernesto Mathieu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 31 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sven Torvik!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Torvik scores with a jab to the jaw.
It looks like Ernesto Mathieu has been cut.
Torvik connects with a nice looking jab.
Torvik has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Torvik lands a left and a right that sends Mathieu crashing to the canvas! Torvik dives into mount looking to finish!

Mathieu on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Mathieu tries to get out of the position.
Mathieu is trying to get back to his feet but can't.

Torvik throwing strikes here but Mathieu is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Torvik trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Torvik takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Mathieu bucks up and throws Torvik to the side - he's got back to his feet. Great escape!
Torvik lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Torvik fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Mathieu has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Torvik keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Ernesto Mathieu's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Torvik throws out a leg kick but Mathieu moves out of range and Torvik only half commits.

Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Mathieu uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Torvik.
As Torvik backs away, Mathieu returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.

Torvik cracks Mathieu with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

and Mathieu counters with a nice uppercut.

Torvik has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Nice straight punches there by Torvik. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Torvik.

Mathieu is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Torvik feints and then cracks Mathieu's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Mathieu down.

The cut above Sven Torvik's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Sven Torvik seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Torvik fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Torvik throws a leg kick that is checked
and Mathieu counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Mathieu moves out of range of the body kick from Torvik.
Mathieu was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Mathieu is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Torvik feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Mathieus jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Jeez, Ernesto Mathieu's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Mathieu checks a leg kick.

It looked like Mathieu was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Torvik swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Mathieu.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Ernesto Mathieu's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Sven Torvik!
Sven Torvik decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
