Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Baki Hanma (ranked 761 p4p, 744 weight class) and Won Yong Jung (ranked 96 p4p, 91 weight class). Hanma comes to the cage accompanied by B-Complex - Beautiful Lies. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Baki Hanma!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Won Yong Jung!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hanma misses with an uppercut
and Jung counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Hanma swings and misses with a hook to the body.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Jung has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Jung crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Hanma - the referee stops the clock and Jung gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Hanma. Jung manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Baki Hanma.
